Over time, a great deal has been written about World War II and Danish participation, but it was not until after 1975 that the subject received serious academic treatment and the first documentary-style books saw the light of day. In the past five years, larger and much more in-depth books on the subject have been published, some of which are purely documentary in nature. Below is a selection of these books:
