Weather and the development of countries and society have left their clear marks. In some places, burial sites have been built over with houses, or\u2014as in Narva\u2014turned into parking areas. However, there are still several places where one can clearly see where trenches, bunkers, and tank positions once were.   <\/p>\n<h3>References<\/h3>\n<p>If you have become interested in seeing the old frontlines, I can suggest a trip to Estonia, where you can visit former frontlines under safe and well-regulated conditions. For the more experienced, there is the option of a trip to the swamps near Demyansk.
